International Conference on Data Science and Intelligent Analysis of Information (ICDSIAI’2018) aims at bringing together researchers working in the field of Data Science in all of its areas to discuss theoretical developments in methods and algorithms for big data mining and intelligent analysis of information, as well as interesting and influential applications of Data Science to economics, business, public policy, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, and contract theory.

The conference will be structured around academic talks delivered by authors that are invited to submit papers in the following areas:

·Big data analysis methods and data mining

·Machine learning

·Data analysis using fuzzy mathematics, soft computing, computing with words

·Applications of data science to economics, business, and public policy

·Applied data science and data mining systems

·Economics of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, including governance, monetary policy, contract theory

·Knowledge engineering methods and ontology engineering

·Intelligent educational systems, intelligent systems for distance learning and knowledge management

·Intelligent search and information analysis in local and global networks

All the papers accepted for the conference will be published with Springer in the special volume in the “Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing” series.

At the moment, we anticipate 40 regular presenters and 4 invited speakers:

In addition, a policy panel, a business panel, and a young scientists school are planned to take place during the conference:

·at the policy panel, issues relating to utilizing the big data in the public policy and decision making will be discussed;

·the business panel will focus on business perspective of big data analysis and using Data Science in business;

·the young scientists school will gather young researchers in applied mathematics, computer science, economics, and other data science related fields. Speakers at the school will deliver talks about hot topics in data science, provide tutorials in modern data analysis methods, and share their academic experience.
